Twin Flower
Overview
Twin Flower was a favorite plant of the Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus, who formalized the modern system of naming organisms with both a scientific and common name. The scientific term for Twin Flower (Linnaea borealis) references its great name-giver. Fee Greening (b. 1990) is a Dorset-based artist and illustrator specialising in dip pen and ink. Inspired by Medieval, Gothic and Flemish art, she graduated from Central St. Martin's in 2012 and received a Masters from the Royal College of Art in 2014. Her impressive roster of commercial clients include among others: Alex Eagle, Alexa Chung, Faber & Faber, Florence + The Machine, Fortnum & Mason, Gucci, Liberty London, Martini, Sony Music, Tate, The Royal Court Theatre. She exhibited in 'The Great Women Artists', curated by Katy Hessel, in 2017 and in 2020 had a solo show at Chateau Zoobeetle, Hong Kong. Fee has designed Climbing Curios, Twin Flower and Harlequin Pearl for CommonRoom.
