Proteas’ Dream is an invigorating multi-hued wallcovering produced by 17 Patterns in collaboration with Siberian born illustrator Rina Vakuleva. Representing strength, hope and change; her adventurous floral debut takes its inspiration from the great myth and mystery of one of earth’s oldest flowers, the King Protea. Comparable to the impressive scale of the Sugar Bush, striking hand-drawn illustrations flaunt their exotic petals and voluptuous artichoke-like blooms over a vibrant one metre pattern repeat. Deeply rooted within the fabric of this fictional composition is the daring nature, uniquely inherited from Vakuleva’s early creative upbringing in the vast and rugged terrain of the Altai Mountains. The versatility of Proteas’ Dream indulges even the boldest of floral fantasies. Instantly transforming both modern and traditional interiors across five fascinating color palettes of Cream, Pink, DuckEgg, Conure Blue and Woodland Grey.
