Native Tools, China Blue on White
Overview
Native Tools was created from drawings of photographed artifacts found in NYC. Merenda sourced many images from the Native American Museum in lower Manhattan. This pattern pays homage to the Lenape people, whose land NYC was built on, and it reminds us that we are on stolen land and to respect the land we share.
