Overview
Metamorphosis celebrates the cornucopia of butterflies that emerge from this extraordinary trans figurative process. Forty species of hand-drawn, exquisitely painted butterflies are carefully placed structuring a kaleidoscopic column, at once delicate and architectural. The thread of symmetry carries all the reassurance of pattern, yet the ever-changing species and their array of brilliant colors reinforce the ideas of hope and renewal that underpin this design. The generous spacing between columns presents each as a monument, imbuing a space with structural elegance whilst paying tribute to the complexity of the natural world.
