Additional Info
Deus ex Gardenia creates wallcoverings and fabrics that celebrate the wonder of the natural world. Our papers bring a touch of botanical glamour to any space.
The brand was established in 2022 by Katya Nappolini, a best-selling luxury textile designer. After studying at the prestigious Central Saint Martins and spending a decade designing for distinguished names in the world of fashion and interiors, such as Etro, Liberty of London, Ralph Lauren, and Anthropologie, Katya was inspired to bring her own unique style to the world of interiors.
Following early initial success, Katya joined forces with her husband Marco Nappolini to help expand the Deus ex Gardenia brand globally.
Their collections explore the rich and diverse landscapes of the world's jungles, forests and country gardens. With a sophisticated color palette of warm, rich and elegant hues, the Deus style pairs the distinctly modern with timeless elegance, layering historical motifs with meticulously hand-illustrated, watercolor and digitally painted newer visual styles to create one-of-a-kind visual narratives.
Katya's inspiration springs from a treasure trove of botanical sketches and images lovingly gathered over the years. Embracing not only the beauty found in art and faraway lands but also the magic that lies just beyond the doorstep of her home in London, England and Abruzzo, Italy.
Deus ex Gardenia, which means 'God from the Garden,' serves as the guiding principle for each meticulously crafted collection. Embracing sustainability, our wallcoverings are produced in England using the highest quality premium paper and are available in a range of exquisite finishes.
All Deus ex Gardenia wallpaper is printed per order in the UK. By keeping production local and bespoke, we can ensure consistency across each roll you receive whilst maximizing our commitment to sustainability.
