Catskills, Midnight & Copper

Overview
After years of frenetic New York trips, we decided it was time to discover more of what the state has to offer. So we hired a car and drove to Willow in upstate New York. On the way we stopped off at Woodstock and Beacon. This wallpaper captures the atmosphere of that trip, staying in a little wooden cabin on Silver Hollow Road, in the shadow of the Catskill mountains. Various species of trees native to the area are represented in the print, including Red Pine, Eastern Hemlock, Yellow Birch and Quaking Aspen.

Launched in 2006 by London based designers, Keith Stephenson and Mark Hampshire, Mini Moderns is an interiors brand specializing in applied pattern across a range of products including wallpapers, fabrics, cushions, rugs and ceramics. 

Their design influences range from mid-century British textiles to vintage toys, from literature to childhood memories. Travel also influences their work - and much of their inspiration comes from holidays and field trips, both at home and abroad.

Mini Moderns also works on a number of commissions, including recent collaborations with the Courtauld Gallery, Southbank Centre and the London Transport Museum Shop.
