Syncopation, Yellow by Lucienne Day
Overview
Lucienne Day, a leading British textile designer of the twentieth century, produced innovative designs for textiles, wallpapers, carpets, and ceramics, paving the way for the post-war 'Contemporary' style. In collaboration with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation, Mini Moderns has produced authentic reissues of two original wallpaper designs by Lucienne Day.
Syncopation's distinctive mark-making and abstract arrangement of expertly crafted lines, dashes, and dots create a gently elegant vertical stripe, exhibiting a dynamic visual rhythm that is inherently Lucienne Day
