Serpiente'
Overview
The Spanish word for snake, Serpiente', reflects Helena’s background and fervor for Gothic elements. We would characterize her residence and aesthetic as ‘refined witch’, alluding to the late Georgian and Victorian eras, combined with a carefully curated, contemporary touch.
Anna's signature styles of Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts are evident here, blending delicate snakes into an attractive winding pattern, featuring stylized floral designs. A hue we refer to as ‘hot green’, the shades vary from bright bottle greens to deep teal, shiny greens, and off-white accented with a touch of pink. Somewhat Victorian in design, this pattern suits both maximalist aesthetics, period residences, and contemporary environments

Discover Anna Hayman's handmade designs, often influenced by the Art Deco, Victorian, and Arts and Crafts periods. Explore her range of wallpapers, fabrics, and lampshades, perfect for layering and adding depth to both domestic and commercial environments.
Influenced by the Art Deco period, and her own home, Anna Hayman mixes elements of this era and the Biba era, along with her own indigenous style to create prints with soul and timelessness. Avid about texture, her fringed lampshades and soft velvets, along with heavy patterned papers, tasseled cushions and bedspreads evoke a languorous, decadent way of being. She creates each print carefully using either lino cutting techniques or painting with ink or decorators paints.
