Triflora, Spring
Overview
The Danube Delta has a surface of approximately 175.000 ha covered in reed. As a resource, it has been used by villagers/people for thousands of years for feeding animals, in construction or for interior decorating. One of the most distinctive features of the houses in the Danube Delta - their roofs made out of reed. Harvesting reed has been acknowledged as one of the most widely spread occupations among the people of the Delta. The abundance of patterns presented in this complementary wallpaper has been selected in three different shades reminiscent of the changing of seasons from Spring warm to Autumn dark or neutral, making it versatile for decorative purposes.
