Additional Info
Amy Hood is a fine art illustrator creating vintage-inspired artworks which include the fun-loving Lindy Hop dancers, portraits of inspirational women throughout history and book covers. After having worked in the book industry for nearly ten years, she spent 2019 redirecting her career towards freelance illustration. Her work is greatly influenced by the specialisms she focused on during her Art Foundation and BA in History of Art - namely costume design and Renaissance portraiture. Amy works primarily in pencil (graphite and color) or Micron pen and edits each illustration digitally. The ‘Swing Time!’ wallpaper collection was inspired by her time learning the Lindy Hop and by the music of the jazz and big band era.
