Overview
Cross Stitch is inspired by antique embroidery samplers and vintage cross stitch patterns and books that I found at flea markets in Paris over the last couple of years.
The design features alphabets in various embroidery fonts, interspersed with folkloric animal designs. Each cross has been hand drawn. The simple monochrome scheme gives the intricate design a graphic quality.

The wallpapers and non-woven substrates are all sourced from sustainably managed forests and are printed at one of the few remaining, traditional, wallpaper printers in England, using non toxic water based inks.
