Introduction: Meet the Owner
Founded in 2015, The Pattern Collective was born out of a simple idea: bold pattern deserves a comeback. Based in New Orleans, we’re a woman-owned textile showroom that celebrates fabric and wallpaper with personality - pieces that feel artful, expressive, and just a little unexpected.
At the center of it all is Brittany Ellis, the founder and creative force behind The Pattern Collective. What started as a passion project quickly grew into a full-fledged showroom rooted in Brittany’s love of design and storytelling. With a background in interior design from The University of Alabama, she believes the best spaces are layered, personal, and never boring. Design, after all, should feel collected - not cookie-cutter.

We work closely with independent designers from around the world, curating one-of-a-kind textiles and wallpapers for designers and clients who value originality and craftsmanship. Championing small artists is at the core of what we do - because behind every great pattern is a great maker, and their stories deserve to be seen.
One of our favorite parts of this journey is seeing bold pattern come to life in real homes and projects. If you’ve used fabric or wallpaper sourced through The Pattern Collective, we’d love to see it. Share your photos on social media and tag us (@thepatterncollective) for a chance to be featured. Whether it’s a finished room or a work in progress, we’re always excited to celebrate the creativity of our community.
