The Pattern Collective

Angela Groundwater

After years of enjoying the creativity of working in film post production, having children gave Angela Groundwater the opportunity to get back to a more tactile and immediate kind of craft - at home with her little girlies and utilizing her early training as a traditional animator.

So, channeling that she decided to pick up pencil and paper to draw stories again. Though stories need not be only in a book or on screen, they can be part of your everyday life up for all to see, adding an intimate backdrop to your personal world - as wallpapers!

Wallpapers can be so much more than just decorative, they re the perfect vehicle for narrative - real or imagined, informative or educational, for a business or something more intimate and all to reflect your personal aesthetic. Patterns are beautiful but they need not be just that.
